Welcome to our website!
Calvary Message Crusaders Inc. is a Missions Oriented Organization in Nigeria with a mandate to reach and to rescue the rural dwellers, using the preaching of the gospel as our platform and Holistic Evangelism as our approach. It was birthed 10th November 1989 by a stunning revelation to the President, Rev. Dr. Pius Onephrojire.

The Revelation:
“It was on the 4th of February 1987, I was preparing for the Wednesdays evening Bible Study and was feeling very satisfied with the amount of work I was doing in response to the “Great Commission” when I had a terrible feeling of great uneasiness. I could not understand what was happening to me.

Suddenly my eyes got opened and like I was watching a film, I saw men and women, boys and girls in faraway interiors and swamps. They were in chains with heavy burden on their heads, gloom written on their faces. My heart immediately reached out to them. I tried to get to them, to break up their chains and to undo their burdens but I could not. I felt terribly bad because I was certain that these people are doomed if no one gets to them. When I came to myself, still shaking from the effect of the dream I was certain that God was calling me into the missions field. But I pretended to be confused, when I shared the experience with my wife. I refused to listen to her reasoning.

A year later, while I was still dreading the experience and its consequent responsibilities, the call came again. But it was not until November 10th 1989 that I was able to summon up the courage and gathered men of like passion to start the organization of Calvary Message Crusaders Inc.”

Over the years, we have been committed to bringing these people, who are denied the good things of this world, dying souls also perishing without the hope of the gospel to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savour Jesus Christ.
